PRAAT
Praat is a free software for acoustic analysis. However, once you work with Praat you'll discover there are so many different stuff you can do with Praat. I have been using this software since 2003 and learnt simple scripting by myself and with a little help from my friends. I have been writing scripts for my friends for quite sometime now and thought of making this small repository of Praat scripts that I wrote for my own work. Feel free to use these scripts and I keep the count as seen below. Its helps me to decide whether I should keep this page open or not. You can also send me requests for scripts that you need. If the project is fun and challenging and I have time, I will surely upload it to this website. Also, please use these scripts at your own risk.

Extract Various Values to Excel Reads textgrids and accordingly opens sound files to extract the following information to an excel file: filename, interval number, label of interval, duration of interval, average pitch, intensity of the interval and pitch values at every 2% of the total duration of the interval |

| 4. Extract F1 and F2 Values to Excel This script calculates the center formant frequencies (F1 and F2) of a vowel interval and outputs the results in both Hertz and Bark scale. |
